The 4000 Divya Prabandham is one of the greatest spiritual treasures of the Sri Vaishnava tradition. Composed by the twelve Āzhvārs, these sacred hymns are revered as Tamil Veda — recited in temples, preserved through lineage, and studied with deep reverence for centuries.

The series being published on JUPARS is not a critical edition of the original verses. We are not reproducing the exact canonical Tamil text of the Divya Prabandham.

Instead, what you are reading here are devotional reflections inspired by the pasuram groupings, written in the spirit and emotional essence of each Āzhvār.
Each article follows the traditional sequence and honors the contribution of the respective Āzhvār.

However, the Tamil lines presented in this series are interpretative devotional renderings, meant to convey the bhāva (spiritual mood), philosophy, and emotional depth of the original hymns. They are meditative reflections — not verbatim scriptural citations.

Readers seeking the authentic, original text of the Divya Prabandham are encouraged to consult established printed editions, temple publications, and authoritative commentaries from recognized Sri Vaishnava sources.

The intention of this series is simple and sincere:
To bring the heart of the Divya Prabandham into everyday reflection.
To make its essence accessible.
To keep the lamp of bhakti burning in a contemporary format.

We approach this work with humility, devotion, and respect for the tradition.
If these reflections inspire you to seek the original verses, chant them, or study them more deeply, then this effort has served its purpose.
With reverence,
JUPARS
