Mūndram Tiruvandādi — Peyāzhvār (Pāsurams 1–10)

திருக்கண்டேன் பொன்மேனி கண்டேன் திகழும் அருக்கன் அணிநிறம் கண்டேன் செருக்கிளரும் பொன்னாழி கண்டேன் புரிசங்கு கை கண்டேன் என்றேன்.
Peyāzhvār opens the third Tiruvandādi with direct vision. This is not imagination but revelation. He sees the Lord clearly, radiantly, in full form. The human message is powerful: devotion matures into vision when the heart is ready. Faith is no longer conceptual; it becomes experiential.

கண்டேன் அவன் திருவடி கண்டேன் கண்டேன் அவன் திருநாமம் கண்டேன் கண்டேன் அவன் அருளை கண்டேன் கண்டேன் என்னுள் அவனை கண்டேன்.
Here the Āzhvār moves from outer vision to inner realization. The Lord is not only seen outside but felt within. This verse reassures seekers that true vision culminates inwardly, not outwardly.

என்னுள் புகுந்தான் இமைப்பில் கண்டேன் மன்னும் உலகம் மறந்து நின்றேன் பன்னும் புகழ் அவன் பேர் கேட்டேன் அன்னை போல் என்னை ஆட்கொண்டான்.
Grace enters quietly, yet completely. The world fades for a moment, replaced by presence. The verse reflects how divine love feels intimate, protective, and nurturing.

அஞ்சல் என்றான் அருள் மொழிந்து நெஞ்சம் நிறைந்தது நிம்மதியால் வஞ்சம் அகன்றது வலி அகன்றது இஞ்சல் இன்றி இனிது ஆனேன்.
Fear dissolves at reassurance. Peyāzhvār emphasizes emotional healing as a spiritual fruit. When fear leaves, sweetness follows. This verse speaks directly to anxious hearts.

பார்த்தேன் அவனை பல்லுயிரில் பார்த்தேன் கேட்டேன் அவனை எல்லா ஒலியில் பார்த்தேன் அவனை என் வழியில் நின்று காத்தான் என்னை.
The Lord is perceived everywhere — in life, sound, and circumstance. This verse reveals spiritual integration: nothing lies outside divine presence.

நான் என்ற உணர்வு நழுவியது நீ என்ற உண்மை நிலைத்தது ஏன் என்ற கேள்வி மறைந்தது தேன் போன்ற அமைதி பிறந்தது.
Ego dissolves naturally in the presence of truth. Questions fall away. Peace remains. Peyāzhvār’s vision brings rest rather than excitement.

உலகம் உண்மை என மறுக்கவில்லை ஆனால் நிலை அல்ல என உணர்ந்தேன் நிலையான நீ என கண்ட பின்னே நிலை தேடல் முடிந்தது.
Like the earlier Āzhvārs, Peyāzhvār neither rejects life nor clings to it. Understanding impermanence leads to inner stability.

எல்லாம் அவன் செயல் என்றேன் எல்லாம் அவன் அருள் என்றேன் என்னுள் நன்றி பெருகியது எண்ணம் சாந்தி அடைந்தது.
Gratitude replaces analysis. Acceptance replaces struggle. The heart rests.

வாழ்வு பயணம் விளக்கம் ஆனது துன்பம் பாடம் ஆனது தேடல் அடைவு ஆனது அடைவு எளிது ஆனது.
Life itself becomes meaningful. Difficulty refines rather than wounds. The verse reframes suffering as instruction.

இதுவே ஒளி இதுவே விளக்கு இதுவே வழி இதுவே நிலை இதுவே அவன் அருள் செய்த பத்து இதுவே எனக்கு என்றும் துணை.
The tenth pāsuram seals this opening set. Peyāzhvār’s lamp burns bright with vision, gratitude, and calm assurance.

These ten pāsurams ignite the third lamp of the Divya Prabandham. Where the first lamp awakened awareness and the second stabilized trust, Peyāzhvār’s lamp reveals direct vision — seeing the Divine everywhere and resting in that sight. The flame now shines openly, confidently, and without doubt.
