Mūndram Tiruvandādi — Peyāzhvār (Pāsurams 51–60)

Peyāzhvār opens this set by describing the inner purification that follows divine vision. Pride loosens, humility grows, and fear fades. Peace is not imposed; it settles naturally when clarity dawns. அவன் ஒளி என் எண்ணத்தை நிறைத்தது அவன் அருள் என் நெஞ்சை நிறைத்தது அவன் கருணை என் செயலை நிறைத்தது அவன் துணை எனக்கு உறுதி ஆனது. Presence becomes completeness. Thought, feeling, and action align. The verse reassures that grace does not remain abstract; it shapes daily life. முன்னை சுமை மெலிந்தது பின்னை பயம் சிதைந்தது இந்நாள் வாழ்வு இனிது ஆனது உன்னால் எல்லாம் சரியானது. Past weight and future anxiety release together. Life feels ordered without control. This verse speaks of trust restoring balance. பார்த்தேன் அவனை என் தவறுகளில் பொறுத்தான் பார்த்தேன் அவனை என் துயரில் தாங்கினான் பார்த்தேன் அவனை என் வீழ்ச்சியில் உயர்த்தினான் பார்த்தேன் அவனை என் நலம் ஆனான். Grace is recognized in forgiveness and patience. The Divine lifts without shaming. This verse comforts human frailty with compassion. உலகம் ஓடினாலும் உள்ளம் நின்றது சுகமும் துயரும் சமம் ஆனது நகமும் நரம்பும் அவன் ஆனது அகமும் புறமும் அவன் ஆனது. Inner stillness persists amid movement. Extremes soften into balance. Unity replaces fragmentation. நான் என்ற உணர்வு கரைந்த பின்னே நீ என்ற உண்மை நிறைந்தது தேடல் ஓய்ந்தது தாகம் தீர்ந்தது தேன் போன்ற அமைதி பிறந்தது. Seeking dissolves into sweetness. Fulfillment replaces longing. Peace arrives as rest. எண்ணம் எழுந்தாலும் ஏமாற்றவில்லை வினை வந்தாலும் விழவில்லை கண்ணன் கருணை எனக்கு துணை என்றேன் நன்மை தீமை ஒன்றாய் கண்டேன். Resilience matures beyond circumstance. Grace steadies perception beyond duality. பார்க்கும் பார்வை புனிதம் ஆனது கேட்கும் சொல் எல்லாம் இனிது ஆனது பார்க்கும் உலகம் பகை இல்லை ஆனது உள்ளம் நிறைவு கண்டது. Perception sanctifies experience. Judgment yields to reverence. Inner fullness transforms the outer view. எல்லாம் அவன் செயல் என்றேன் எல்லாம் அவன் அருள் என்றேன் என்னுள் நன்றி பெருகியது எண்ணம் அமைதி அடைந்தது. Gratitude deepens vision. Acceptance becomes effortless. The heart rests in thankfulness. இதுவே காட்சி இதுவே பயன் இதுவே வழி இதுவே நிலை இதுவே அவன் அருள் செய்த பத்து இதுவே எனக்கு என்றும் விளக்கு. The tenth pāsuram seals this set by affirming vision itself as light and refuge. The lamp continues to burn steadily. These ten pāsurams further mature Peyāzhvār’s lamp, where divine vision purifies the heart and steadies life. The light no longer surprises; it abides.
