An original comedy-fable universe about friendship, truth, travel, and three impeccably dressed chimps who refuse to stay silent.

The Monkeyverse is an original narrative and creative universe that blends comedy, emotion, mythology, and social satire through the journey of three extraordinary chimps shaped by the human world. At its heart lies a simple but powerful idea: when silence is no longer forced, truth becomes both chaos and liberation. What begins as a symbolic presence quietly evolves into a globally expandable world of stories, characters, places, and experiences—light in tone, respectful in spirit, and rich with storytelling potential.

The Core Story: Monkey Glory

At the foundation of the Monkeyverse is Monkey Glory, a long-form comedy-fable centered on three intelligent chimpanzees—commonly known as See-No, Speak-No, and Hear-No—who grow up surrounded by humans, absorbing human habits, contradictions, and customs.

Always dressed like miniature gentlemen and deeply bonded like brothers, the chimps live most of their early existence as quiet observers—symbols in a world that once valued restraint but gradually forgot reflection. When they are eventually ignored and displaced, they escape together, beginning a journey that takes them far beyond their origins.

They survive hardship, adapt quickly, and learn the world as insiders and outsiders at once—never fully understood, yet constantly observed.

From Survival to Stardom

Their journey takes them first to places where resilience matters more than reputation, and later into cities that celebrate spectacle, novelty, and excess. Over time, the three chimps become globally recognised—not because they seek attention, but because their presence reflects human behaviour with uncanny clarity.

They travel together across continents.
They encounter cultures, languages, customs, and contradictions.
They move through elite spaces with dignity that often exceeds that of their hosts.

This era—often described as the Globetrotting Chimps phase—opens Monkey Glory into episodic, location-based storytelling filled with humour, misunderstandings, warmth, and sharp but clean satire.

Throughout it all, the chimps remain inseparable.

Until betrayal enters the story.

Betrayal, Death, and the Turning Point

A rival chimp—driven by envy rather than loyalty—betrays them during a moment of peak excess. The three chimps are poisoned and killed together, buried side by side, and seemingly erased from the world they once travelled.

But their story does not end there.

Years later, as cities rise and memories fade, a bar is built unknowingly on the site of their graves.

The bar is called The Monkey Bar.

The Monkey Bar

The Monkey Bar becomes one of the most iconic elements of the Monkeyverse.

At its counter sit three stools, positioned directly above where the chimps were buried. Each stool carries a supernatural effect—an inversion of the old lesson of silence:

  • One grants the ability to see what others cannot see
  • One grants the ability to hear what others cannot hear
  • One forces the occupant to speak truths they can no longer suppress

Visitors who sit experience sudden, uncontrollable access to hidden realities—personal, social, emotional, and cultural. The result is chaos, comedy, confession, and consequence.

The chimps, now present as unseen forces rather than physical beings, are no longer silent observers. Their “curse” becomes a form of truth-telling justice—never cruel, often absurd, and always revealing.

A Global Phenomenon

As stories spread, The Monkey Bar expands.

New branches appear across the world—often in the very cities the chimps once visited while alive. Each location follows a familiar structure, while later iterations experiment with variations, cultural twists, and narrative risks.

This creates a closed storytelling loop:

  • Cities visited in life
  • Bars established after death
  • Stories echoing across time and place

The Monkeyverse grows not as a single linear narrative, but as an interconnected global fabric of humour, truth, and consequence.
